Bucket brigade!

Marching inland.  They're then going to stand in a circle and do a dowel rod burpee, move to the bucket to their right and rotate around. They'll be given the option to dump the buckets over themselves for points and relief at the next challenge - the line of buckets all over again.

They must line their buckets up, roll a dice at each bucket and do the exercise written in the bucket according to their roll.  Each bucket has a different task.

Bonus lap

Nobody was at the start point for the bonus lap. Nobody gets to do it. That's good though. They were going to do 50 burpees.

The schedule

Lap B - 0640

Lap 0 - 0700

Lap 1 - feats of strength

Lap 2 - feats of endurance

Lap 3 - feats of camaraderie

Lap 4 - feats of intellect

Estimated time to completion today is 15 hours. If they complete the course agenda quickly, they finish quickly.  For example the new port Richie group finished in only 11 hours!

Starting soon

People have woken up and the nerves are already too much for some. We're down to twelve and likely to go down to eleven before the event even begins. So far the stats/predictions are right on point!

The hardest part is simply showing up.

Lets just hope that the person wanting to quit wasn't bringing any mandatory gear... That'd suck horribly for those who actually decided to show up. A lot.

STARTING POINT INFO

At 0700, the team must be lined up from youngest to oldest (either direction) in front of the concrete walkway pictured below.  They must have their gear precisely laid out in the sand as described earlier. Attention to detail can make this easy or a living nightmare.

As you can see, this is right in front of the parking area listed as our meetup point/checkpoint. Just a heads up... If you can consolidate your checkpoint gear and any others into a single car, PLEASE DO SO.  Although we're getting there early, parking is still limited and it cuts down on the chaos.  There are restrooms right by the area as well as drinking fountains.

Bring extra water however to help refill, unless you want to gamble on the drinking fountains not working and having to refill your water from the bathroom sink.

There will be an optional bonus lap to those who wish to partake in this area at 0640.

area highlighted here, in case it still wasn't clear yet.

This is probably the last bit of participant-worthy info.  The rest of the posts from here on out may just be for spectators.

Probably.
