Lap 3 begins
They're lined up and ready for flutter kicks. The medicine balls, soccer ball, friendship logs, sand bags and other torture devices have been brought out.

Incoming flutter kicks
Starting lap 3 with some pain. If they mess things up in this lap, lap 4 sucks more. For instance, if they mess these kicks up, they carry a 20lb medicine ball for lap 4, instead of a 14lb one.
Burpees
Then they get a 25 minute break before lap 3

They rolled a 33 on the 60 sided dice for being 2 minutes over their time hack. Not too bad.
Timing area
About half the group is close to the time hack pace of 10:10/MI.
Lap 1 complete. On to the run.
Getting ready for the 5 mile run. They have four minutes spared from the first break too.
Penalty lap
the team is wrapping up their single lap 1 penalty lap. They get a 12 minute break and then begin their 5 mile run
Casualties
The team didn't heed the Cadre's warning about staying with a buddy. "Lightning" was called and 3 people died. Luckily, they got to choose the casualties. They're slowly learning communication strategies they'll use during lap 3. This is the best carry this Shadow has seen!

Cramp ridden pain
Crab walks from the surf to the pier. Too bad it's low tide. Must have been a quarter mile of crab walking.
Choices
The team chose flutter kicks in the surf over pushups in the surf. Cadre demands perfection. Now they crab walk back off the beach.
