Challenge #1 - What does it mean to you?

The April T3s introduced a new perspective to each class.  Everyone in each class were instructed to bring one medal/bib/headband/patch that they worked the hardest for.  Each person gave a short description of why they brought that medal, and what it means to them.

So we'll start your first challenge off easy.

Before 11:59pm Thursday, you must post on social media a picture of your medal and what it means to you and why you chose it.  You can post it anywhere so long as Team Regiment (the FB page) and/or tentative cadre Neil is tagged in it.  Be creative!  Some of the stories that we've heard in the past were truly inspiring, which is what we in Team Regiment strive to do - inspire others.  You'd be surprised how strong you really are.

Shia has once again motivated! SIX have registered.

Thank you, Shia.  Your clever and encouraging words have brought people out of the crowd of the cold meek souls who merely claim "I'll one day do it" and into the arena.  Our team's motto is "Feel the pain of discipline, or feel the pain of regret", but a better quote leading up to this monster of an event is "You cannot build a reputation on what you're going to do".

Let that sink in for a hot minute.

Expect challenge 1 to be out within a day.

3 so far

As is typical with the start of the T3 announcement, a flood of people announce their intent to do the T3.  However, few put their money where their mouths are and actually register.  Who can blame them?

However, a little Shia motivation never fails.  Brace yourselves, registration is about to increase to 1,000:

Begin transmission of the August 20th T3 Night Ops

The scorching beaches of St. Augustine await.  Registration has now opened and the first few people have already entered the arena.  As is customary, points and perks are not revealed until we reach 5 registrants.  Challenges might be a little different this time as well.

This is it.

They made it. 12 signed up. 1 didn't show, and 1 dropped. We have some new elites. I'm so proud of them.

they did it right the first time. Thank God.

Tunnel of motivation

everyone puts their most prized medals in the center of the circle.  Everyone takes turns low crawling underneath the tunnel of people in the push-up position.

Number recall

They now have to recall their numbers from the dying cockroach position. One person was wrong. I think they are writing them down. It won't help them.

Numbers

Second set of numbers administered. Almost there. Let's hope they can get it right.

Lose equipment. Lose your life.

A ruck was left on the ground. Cadre got it. They get a casualty. For 5 points they can pick their additional casualty... for 10 points they pick up the person that lost equipment.

they chose 5 point option. 2 casualties.

Almost

This could be their last casualty. Hope they do it right. More numbers soon.

More trivia

What was the name of the bolt action rifle Germany issued to their standard infantry in WW1 and WW2? They got it wrong. It is the Kar-98. Ben felt nice. They got to bear crawl in the grass.

Trivia

During WW1, who was the empower of Germany... they said Hitler, and the answer is Willhem I I.

They get to ruck 2 laps of the perimeter of a cul-de-sac.

Numbers recall followed by a casualty carry

After calisthenics and more calisthenics, the team recalled their numbers.  Out of 10 numbers, only 2 were incorrect, resulting in 10 mountain climbers.

Immediately after, Lina was declared a casualty, and was carried to the next trivia point.

Trivia

More trivia... What year did Germany unify into a single nation? They said 1885. It's 1871.
