Soooo much coming soon!

Just got home and I’m taking a week off from running. During that time you can expect a bunch of new things. Yeah - this weekend had a ton of noteworthy things happen!

Here is what we have planned:

  • The 2025 Killington write-up

  • Jeff’s story!

  • Spartan podcast

  • Updates to the guide

Comparison of last year's course with this year.

One week to go!

General findings:

  • This year looks to be 1mi longer (!!!)

  • Ultra loop is slightly easier

  • Festival area is easier

  • Bucket/sandbag carries aren’t as long (but will still suck)

  • Beast course has more detours

  • Sprint course is harder in the middle, with an extra down/up section

  • Mile 30 marker in the ultra loop?! Are we seeing a LAP TWO ultra loop?! This has to be a mistake.

Killington advice in the I AM A SPARTAN OCR Podcast!

We’re a mere months out from our party in the mountain, and our training meetups are forging some amazing athletes that are trying their luck on the mountain this year! In the meantime, Neil and Eric have hopped on the I am a Spartan OCR Podcast for the forth time to go over some refreshers and mid-season (now peak season) advice leading up to Killington!

Give it a listen here!

The 2024 Killington write-up/AAR is finally here!

This one took a while to get the right feelings put into words. Apologies for the delay, but it meant so much to me to get this right! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Take a gander at the write-up here or head over to the articles/reviews tab!

Keep in mind that there are still a couple of placeholder photos, marked with the @ symbol, so hopefully some other runners took photos along the course that can be inserted to help with the readability and flow a bit more!

What a wild and amazing weekend!

The stories coming out of the Killington Ultra are amazing, and you can expect many of them to be here in the coming week(s)! Keep your eyes peeled for updates to the guide as well as the 2024 story!

Almost time!

Our team’s big event is just around the corner! We’re sure all of you have gone through our guide since that’s like 90% of our website traffic, but here’s one final update courtesy of Jonathan Tyler that shows just how much more difficult the K ultra is compared to other events:

What you’re looking at is the finish time, in minutes, of each ultra in addition to the podium finishers’ time. Take into account that these are merely the FINISH times and do not account for any DNFs as well!

Very informative data, indeed!

Soon..

We hope you’re training your asses off!

Also, expect the next T3 to happen Q4 this year or Q1 next year. Looking like central Florida is the next venue, too!
