Behold! The Regiment Warhorse!
Had a good ruck and run out in the Colorado rockies last week, and we got to decorate our horses however we wanted... so I did!
Florida Mud Run, Obstacle and ruck training team.
Had a good ruck and run out in the Colorado rockies last week, and we got to decorate our horses however we wanted... so I did!
It's finally here! Hybrid Runner has released their first issue of their ruck, run, ocr and funrun magazine. You can check out their first issue for free here. Enjoy!
The enlisted are approaching a full class of 15! If you'd like to fill in the last couple of spots, you'd better do it soon! The team are working on their week long 11 mile progressive run for now, only to be subjected to the challenges (read: torture) by cadre Ortega. They better get used to their rucks ASAP....
I'm surprised nobody has found the bonus burpee point Easter egg hidden on the t3 live updates section!
Between routine mud runs, ruck events and general running the current 12 T3 enlisted have been chugging away at some pretty intense pre-game challenges - all for the prospect of earning one or two burpee points to their name in hopes of unlocking some valuable perks. So far they have done an accumulation of 400 burpees, ran 50 miles and even rucked a little. So far they have 37 total points and have been given an ultimatum. If they don't unlock a perk by Friday a random perk will forever disappear. It's funny... they still haven't found the bonus burpee point easter egg hidden on their own team's website!
Outside of T3 shenanigans, our current elites and future elites have been destroying their past records and even hitting the podium at various OCR events such as Superhero Scramble and Mud Crusade. Good work everyone!
The unlockable perks for the T3 have been revealed! Those who have registered early enough for the event will be given the unique opportunity to carry the team towards an easier T3, provided they complete their online pre-game challenges in the coming weeks. As it stands, the T3 is especially hard this time, so the perks will help bring it down to a more reasonable level. If they choose not to take the event seriously, they'll learn to do it on the day of!
Weather you're donning a ruck for 12+ hours or grinding it out on an obstacle course, training is ridiculously important. It's hard to train on your own, we all know this. So if you would like to get your group's workout meets posted on our events page, please contact us to get it listed! Post pictures, goals, PRs and other general shenanigans at our group page. Have fun with it!
If you saw our team flags flying high at the Miami Super Spartan, you probably expected a bunch of people carrying a tire and/or donning a ruck. This time it was different. This time regiment elite Tripp Prevatt partnered up with Sean Hall via the UNF best buddies program to bring Sean through the Spartan Race to become a super spartan! The catch? Sean has cerebral palsy.
This was a humbling and emotional experience for so many people on this amazing team, and it is our honor to document our struggles, challenges and camaraderie as we triumphed our way through Sean's journey of becoming a spartan!
So! What's your excuse?
The reaping of the ruck has been announced! Your next trials begin on the 28th of June in St. Augustine! Returning and aspiring elites alike will be tested at their wits end at the Tough Training Trials! Head over to our events page for more info, or you can get yourself acquainted below.
Weather it's rucking, running, swimming or OCR Team Regiment is always at the ready for any endurance event. Training has been our #1 way of keeping up with all of the physical demands of these kinds of events, and we would absolutely love it if you join us in our adventures! Every week our regiment elites host free training sessions across Florida, and now is your chance to have your training sessions advertised for free!
If you host regular training sessions and would love for us to list your training sessions on our events page, feel free to contact us and we'll get your training added to our map! Confused about the naming system we use? Here is a simple breakdown -
T1 (Training) - 3 times a week, beginner/intermediate/expert. About 1hr long
T2 (Tough Training) - Once every 2 months, intermediate/expert. About 3-5hrs long
T3 (Tough Training Trials) - Once every 2-3 months, intermediate/expert. 12+ hours long.
Happy Friday! Hope you have an active weekend ahead of you that has copious amounts of beer, mud and rucking!
We're working hard for a couple of nifty new team things -
1) Making Sean a Spartan video
2) Regiment store! We have team flags for sale, by the way
3) Final details for the next T3 (Hint: Beach!)
So get your ruck on and start training.
