See you guys at the UltraBeast!
This is an event that gets me nervous just thinking about it. To those doing the beast the day before, I'll be there cheering you on. For now I must continue training.

American Mud Race has become one of the most reliable and beginner-friendly events in central Florida. Even if you're an advanced OCR athlete, you're allowed to run as many laps as you want! That being the case, there will be a lot of regiment folks out at AMR, and we'll even have our own pavilion tent! Feel free to socialize, get some water, and get to know the crew. Keep an eye out for some of our 29 elite members brandishing their red R!
Now, usually these events cost a fortune. We get that. Which is why you're now going to get a 45% discount. Yep. 45 freaking percent. Don't say we never did anything for 'ya! As always, these discounts come in the form of a promo code. That promocode is MUDCRAZY. Register here.
(compliments of fellow regiment elite and two time T3 finisher Jillian Nicole).
We're branching out! The next T3 is going to take place in St. Augustine, FL on the 28th of September. This is going to be a day class, so hydration and heat exhaustion are going to be major factors in this one. Head over to our events section to find out more about this event. As always, if you have any questions you can contact us directly. Hope to see you there!

Less than 30 people hold the coveted rank of elite in The Regiment. Do you have what it takes to earn your red R and join the ranks of these elite members?
The T3 is a 10-12 hour, 16 mile team-building ruck, swim, and obstacle run event that is divided into five themed laps that train, test and challenge every aspect of your mind and body. This event is designed to prepare you for big events like GORUCK Challenge, Spartan Beast (maybe ultrabeast), World's Toughest Mudder and other high-caliber events out there. The trials you will endure are as follows:
Lap 1 - Water challenges
Lap 2 - Feats of strength
Lap 3 - Feats of endurance
Lap 4 - Feats of camaraderie
Lap 5 - Feats of intellect
Aspiring elite are expected to bring a backpack/ruck consisting of at least 20% body weight (we'll have a scale), a headlamp and clothes to get wet and sandy in. Those who abide by the GORUCK rule (6 bricks if above 150 lbs) will grant bonus burpee points to your team. You will be provided with food and drinks after every lap is completed, so we got you covered!
Those who make it to the end (people have quit) will receive the coveted red R patch and the rare honor that only the elite get to share in The Regiment. Nobody has said this was easy, but everybody has said it was worth it. This time it will be at a campground. If you want to stay overnight, reserve your campsite now at http://floridastateparks.reserveamerica.com/campsiteCalendar.do?page=matrix&calarvdate=09/18/2013&contractCode=FL&parkId=281003
What an exciting week it has been! Our regiment elite have once again took their awesomeness to the field and have taken home the following accolades:
Heidi W. - 1st place, age group
Tina R. - 1st place, age group
Jillian N. - 2nd place, age group
Terry G. - 2nd place overall elite
This is what it means to wear that red R patch. Excellent work!
We've got a few regiment elite making a presence out at Hog Wild today. See if you can spot them all :)
Having trouble? Well now, that just means we'll need to have a regiment elite profile section in place! Coming soon...
It's Friday, which means it's another T1 day! To those who aren't familiar, we conduct free OCR training every M/W/F at 5:00pm for advanced and 6:30pm for beginner/intermediate. The location is at Blanchard Park near the YMCA and as I said before, it's free. Since The Regiment is founded by gamers, we love to provide incentives to your experience. Those who show up will gradually score some cool OCR gear and other prizes.
Today's run will be a straight up distance run. No obstacles, no intervals. Just pure running. We're meeting a little later today (5:30) to give some of you time to head here from work. See you then!
MUDRUNREGIMENTFUN! MRF Magazine is now live. In it you will find reviews, stories, and other really cool snippets of information. Best of all? That sucker is FREE. Yeah, seriously. It's as easy as clicking a link.
Dude, the link.
Not to spoil everything that goes on in the T3, here is a short video under two minutes long that highlights some of the trials that class TRX endured for thirteen hours. All eleven people in the class finished while smiling the entire way. I'm proud to call them members of the regiment elite! May they inspire others to do great things. Head over to our videos section to check out other fun regiment things that we do!
We got some new visitors to the site, so you may be pleased to hear that we host training sessions three times a week at Blanchard park as well as a few residential routes. Training is always free and we host sessions for all levels of skill. We even got a snazzy picture to convey this message to you all! Dude, the snazzy picture:
You guys were incredible. Absolutely incredible. All of the rest of the pictures have been posted on our Facebook group page. Request an invite and we'll hook you up.
